To recap, Cleevelands is a scheme which is being suggested by Welbeck as one possible means of meeting the emerging planning policy requirement for further housing growth to the north of Bishop's Cleeve. As yet there is no certainty that any further growth will occur.
Accordingly, this exhibition presents the current thoughts of Welbeck and hopefully provides answers to these important questions:
- Could the site be developed?
- Does the site flood?
- Is there access to the site?
- Would the setting of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) be protected?
- Are there any archaeological remains?
- Would protected species or important habitats be affected by development?
- What would an appropriate mix of development be?
- Could Cleevelands be a sustainable form of development?
